Disney Wonder

Well, after almost a 3 year break, looks like I’m going back out there. And by out there, I mean another ship. The Disney Wonder this time. And, I’m a little apprehensive, because I know that this time, it won’t be business as usual. Of course, I’ll know much more in a month or so, but my understanding is, Disney is PC (politically correct) on steroids. So, I know I’m going to REALLY have to edit what I do. My concern is, can I stay funny and entertaining, editing myself so much, or will I just seem to be another “white” guy, blending into the background?
This really has me concerned. Although, for this occasion, perhaps I’ll just suck it up, and blend…after all, if Disney was not even willing to let Christina Aguilera shine and do her own thing for them, some 50+ piano player is going to be of little concern. I’ll do the best I can do, and hopefully, it’ll be enough. Anyhow, it’s only for a few months. How rough could it be?
And I just remembered another thing: Space Shuttle Discovery, or space shuttle mission STS-134 will be Launching April 19, which, if I cut the gig, (which I’m actually not sure about at this point) will take place while I can watch from the sidelines. It will be only the second time I’ve seen one launch, although Teresa and I watched one scorch across the night sky as it was on its way to Edwards’s air force base. At first we thought it was a plane on fire, and very close to us. Later, while watching the news, we realized what it was, and why there was no noise, for something that “looked” so close. It must’ve been still many miles up in its re-entry point when we saw it.
..Just another perk of travelling…
Well, better practice up – want to be in top form for Mickey Mouse, you know…
